Fantasy Gives Any Absurdity a Chance to Become Part of the Logic
electronic wire, concrete, steel, aluminum, spray foam, acrylic 2020
Through fictionalizing a futuristic society that has been fully built on integrated circuits and manipulated by
political lies, Lisha talks about authenticity within that national totalitarianism. Through counterfeiting meteorites, she
produces a large amount of ‘techno fossil meteorites’, connects each of them with built-in electronic wires, and distributes
them in space to create a walk-in openness. The group of ‘techno fossil meteorites’ is a metaphor for collectivity, as well as
a set of interactive devices. As audiences conduct static electricity from their bodies to the ‘techno fossil meteorites’,
conversations between two people about authenticity will be triggered.
